Structure of « kissing complex » revealed: its application to AIDS research

By using innovative NMR technologies, researchers at the Jean-Pierre Ebel Structural Biology Institute, collaborating with teams from the European Institute of Chemistry and Biology and the University of Ottawa have shed light on specific mechanisms between the RNA of the AIDS virus and synthetic RNA. The results, published in the July 8th edition of the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, offers invaluable information for the development of new therapies directed against viral RNA sequences.
