Given numerous countries’ recent interest in nuclear energy, the economy of resources, the security of the technologies. and their resistance to proliferation become major issues. Above all, the growing return to nuclear energy requires a responsible management of used fuel cells. In this context, researchers at CEA are working on optimizing the combustion cycle and thinking up solutions for the nuclear energy of the future.
