Researchers from the Research Team on Emerging Infectious and Tropical Diseases, led by Didier Raoult (CNRS, IRD, Université de la Méditerranée) and in collaboration with Dutch and German researchers, have demonstrated a new way for viruses to infect immune system cells. Their work was published online in the PLoS Pathogens journal on June 16, 2008.
