EPF School of Engineering is offering students across the globe a virtual Tech Camp from 28 June to 2 July 2021, as well as a Summer School from 5 to 17 July 2021 around the topic of “Smart Sustainable
Cities”.
This comprehensive summer program provides an introduction to French culture and engineering in France, with the two events taking place entirely in English to reach the broadest possible audience.
Virtual Tech Camp: discover innovation and engineering in France Following on from its past success, EPF is once again hosting an online event: EPF Virtual Tech Camp. It will provide attendees with the opportunity to discover engineering innovations in France over five days. This program will teach students the necessary technical and soft skills to become a professional,innovative and expert engineer.The online event is open to all international students interested in engineering in France.During the week, a full day will be dedicated to discovering the French language and culture.
A great way for participants to travel from their own home!A Summer School dedicated to “Sustainable and Smart Cities”The EPF Summer School will take place remotely from 5 to 17 July 2021 and will be divided into two modules: from 5 to 9 Julyand from 12 to 17 July. Participants will have the choice of attending one orboth modules. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the summer program will enable participants to understand the basics of sustainabilityand its application to smart cities.
They will discover the ways in which artificial intelligence, digital technologies, communication technologies and the circular economy can be used efficiently for thedesign of healthy smart cities.The event usually takes place in person and includes a cultural dimension. However, due to thepandemic, it will take place remotely for the second time.“The now traditional EPF “Summer School” enables participants not only to deepen their technical andscientific knowledge surrounding the different ecosystems of smart cities, but is also a fantasticopportunity to study in English alongside students from across the globe.
Participants have the chanceto discover the expert knowledge and expertise of EPF and its partners, while discovering variousaspects of France and its many assets. The EPF Summer School is an unforgettable learning, academicand inter-cultural experience for international students. Due to the health crisis, it will be taking placeentirely online this year.

A Participation Certificate is awarded to participants at the end of each event and ECTS academic credits are attributed after the completion of the modules of the Summer School. Each module represents 2.5 ECTS credits, validated by the students.
